This is a reading group based in London with a focus to cover foundational papers and literature in probability and statistics.
Sessions are held once every two weeks, with presentation lasting for 30 mins - 1 hour and 30 mins left at the end for casual discussion (optional).
Update on 25 Mar 2025: This reading group has been paused since Max and Kevin are both graduating. Thanks for the fun ride over the past 3 years!
Update on 13 May 2024: We currently host in-person only sessions at UCL. Sessions take a traditional format where we read some texts around a topic in advance and discuss understanding and exercises in the group. Locations and readings are published on the mailing list before each session. The topic for summer 2024 is Random Walk on Groups.
